Presence
Figures leave behind anonymous evidence of their existence as they move through space; footprints, dust and debris, sound, and waste all document an individual occupying or in motion. This piece implements performative drawing as a means of recording a similar sense of a body's ubeity. Through a cyclical mark-making technique an unidentified, ghostly representation of what once existed emerges making presence a more obvious concept.
